Understand prediction deadlines and locks
Use the deadline displayed for the exact pool, event and prediction section. There is no universal promise that every pick stays editable until kickoff or race start.

- Check the correct pool and your displayed time zone.
What to do
- Open the event's prediction form and read its deadline and lock state.
- Check the pool's Rules for a football lock offset and whether edits are allowed.
- For a race weekend, check each active F1 section rather than assuming one deadline covers everything.
- Allow time for football autosave to finish; for F1, choose Save after your edits. Confirm the saved state before the relevant deadline and before leaving.
The event time changes
Rescheduled events follow the application's current canonical schedule and policy. Do not infer that an earlier lock has reopened. Check the current form and rules again.
The clock looks wrong or the form has just locked
Check your Profile time-zone setting and refresh the event state. Time-zone formatting does not change the actual deadline, and an open browser tab does not reserve permission to save after it.
