Change a prediction or edit a saved pick
You can change a prediction only when the pool permits edits and the relevant choice remains unlocked. Save the new value and verify the result.
Before you start
- Use the same account, pool and event as the original prediction.
What to do
- Open the saved prediction and check the displayed lock status.
- For football, check whether the pool allows edits before the deadline. For F1, inspect the deadline of the section you want to change.
- For football, enter both whole-number scores from 0 to 20 and wait for autosave. For F1, make your changes across the open sections, then choose Save to submit them together.
- Wait for confirmation and check that the saved values match your intended changes.
The edit is locked
A displayed or actual deadline may have passed, or the pool may disallow edits. Refreshing, changing time zone or opening another device does not extend the deadline.
The new value did not save
Do not assume the form replaced your earlier prediction. Keep your intended values and check the saved record before another attempt. If the deadline has passed, report the error to support without requesting an unrecorded result to be treated as saved.
